I am happy to announce that GNOME Music has shaped up really great and I am proud to be a part of it. This blog post is a final consolidated report as part of GSoC.
I made some great friends and learned a lot during my experience with the GNOME community.
My journey of contributing to the open source community began with fixing small bugs like incrementing a counter.
The code that we write needs to to handle the boundary conditions.
Apologizing – Not as dramatic as it sounds. :P
Warnings cannot be ignored!
Implementing new features.
Always follow the architecture and saperate your concerns.
Keeping the code clean is extremely important, if you don’t want to be overwhelmed with the sheer amount of code you’ve written.
Also, I am excited about the new features that are yet to come in the upcoming releases and here is some eye candy. :D
Until next time
